Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood actor and writer who has received critical recognition for her talents. Sagittarius. Her birthplace was in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the eldest child of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper and Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. She's English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Due to her father's job the Moore family was often moved and she struggled to establish relationships or keep them. Moore started acting in play as she travelled with her family members to Germany. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. thesis in Theater. Moore's professional career started at New York with Off-Broadway Theater following her graduation. She made an appearance on the screen for the first time in The Edge of Night. The break came in 1986 in which she was cast as the character as Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes in As the World turns. In 1988, she was an actress on the show and received a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, her debut film appearance came in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film she later called a bad budget production. She appeared in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both productions of Robert Altman. It was critically acclaimed, and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore was her first major part in Safe(1995). In 1997, her career as an actress reached a turning point when Steven Spielberg cast her to be the main character in Jurassic Park: The Lost World that became the highest grossing film of 1997. In 1999 she starred in the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded a SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it earned nine Academy Award nominations along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also been seen in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) along with a host of other films. Non-Stop was a film in which she appeared in 2014 was released. Moore has appeared in countless films and television shows. She has a starring role in the most recent one, which is When You Finish Saving the World (2022). Her career has been established in Hollywood and is a bestselling author of children's books. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and it was an N.Y.T. bestseller. Best-seller, it was also made into a series as well as a music. In 2013, she released Her Mom is A Foreigner. Moore is a popular author and performer she has also made her private life public. She got married to John Robin in 1984 and they divorced in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her children. Moore's life is all about her friends from the family and work.
